Montreal Alouettes Vs. Toronto Argos - 10/10/11

Anthony Calvillo, 39, in his 18th season is simply the best. Yesterday, against Toronto Argos he broke the record, becoming professional football’s career passing leader, as Alouettes topple Argos 29-19. Calvillo connected with Richardson, making a 50-yard-pass-and-run touchdown!

“I’m glad it happened the way it happened, on a huge touchdown. Jamel’s such a big part of our success. He made the play,” Calvillo said. “It was more of an emotional strain that I thought. Leading up to the moment, I got emotional and it put a strain on me. I’m glad it’s over and I can move forward.”

Calvillo now has 72,429 career passing yards.

“I’ve had longer runs, I think. Maybe once,” he said. “That touchdown helped us get over the edge. We struggled, and I wasn’t consistent.”

Mcgill Redmen had a tied 2-2 game last week-end against UQUAM citadins. It was a really hard game: UQUAM citadins dominated its beginning, scoring at the ninth minute. After Redmen come back at 1-1 (24') the citadins scored again just after the half-time (50'). But there Redmen showed once again their value tearing off the draw at the last minute! It was such an intense game, the audience had not been pleased in this way for a long time!
This tied game leads Redman at the second place of the championship :
